Vladimir Trushchenkov - Producer
Vladimir Trushchenkov was born in Smolensk, Russia in 1959 and graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1982, where he received a PhD in Physics and Mathematics. Soon after, he started a business which began as a small cooperative and ultimately grew into a large holding company.
In 1994, he then founded the National Insurance Group (NIG), one of Russia’s largest insurance companies, for which he doubles not only as owner but also as chairman of the board of directors.
In 2001, Trushchenkov founded the film company Top Line Production (TLP) with Sergey Gribkov. Together they produced several films including the comedy “Don't Even Think!” and its sequel “Don't Even Think!! Independence Play.” In late 2005, Trushchenkov produced “Countdown,” a timely story about global security. Combined with fast-moving action and extremely high production values, TLP made "Countdown" a one-of-a-kind film project that was critically and publicly acclaimed both in Russia and abroad.
In 2005 TLP introduced another successful comedy entitled “Dream On”, fortifying its reputation as a leader in the Russian film market.
